Audio System Upgrade at Hammock Pointe Elementary: New JBL Speakers & AV Rack Installation

We recently wrapped up a professional AV system upgrade at Hammock Pointe Elementary School in Boca Raton, Florida, bringing new life to their cafetorium's audio setup. The school needed a solution that was powerful, reliable, and easy for staff to operate, so we delivered a clean, integrated system designed for both performance and longevity.

JBL Control 30 Speaker Replacement for the Cafetorium

The existing speaker system in the cafetorium was underperforming and showing signs of age. We replaced four wall-mounted units with JBL Control 31 high-output loudspeakers, known for their excellent vocal clarity, wide dispersion, and deep low-frequency response.

While these speakers are often used for outdoor applications due to their weather resistance, their high power handling and wide coverage pattern also make them ideal for large, reverberant indoor spaces like cafetoriums. The upgrade dramatically improved speech intelligibility and overall sound quality for assemblies, performances, and lunch-hour announcements.

Wall-Mounted AV Equipment Rack for Wireless Mics, Mixer & Amps

To streamline audio control, we also installed a custom wall-mounted AV rack in a secure location within the cafetorium. This centralized hub houses:

Wireless microphone receivers
Power amplifiers
Compact mixer
Signal routing and power conditioning equipment

The rack was designed with ease of use in mind: staff can quickly access mic channels or adjust levels for events without needing to navigate a tangle of cables or equipment. All cabling was labeled, terminated cleanly, and secured for long-term reliability.
