This notice explains how W&L Sound Consulting LLC handles information through wlsound.com and how you can control optional analytics.
Information you share with us
When you contact us, we receive the information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, organization and project details. We use it to respond, prepare proposals, provide services and manage our business relationship. Please do not include payment card details, passwords or sensitive personal information in the inquiry form.
Website operation and service providers
Webflow hosts this website and processes form submissions. Cloudflare supports our domain and website security services, including form spam protection. Microsoft provides our business email services. These providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, request logs and messages to deliver and protect their services.
Some links lead to our remaining Shopify pages or to other services, including Google Maps. Those destinations have their own privacy and cookie settings; choices made here apply to this Webflow website.
This site also requests fonts from Google to display its typography. Your browser shares technical request information with Google when fetching those files. Font delivery is separate from the optional Google Analytics setting. See Google Fonts privacy information.
Optional analytics
We use optional analytics to understand how the website is used and improve its content and usability. The following tools load only when you allow the corresponding option in Cookie preferences:
- Google Analytics: measures visits, pages viewed, navigation, device and browser information, approximate location and referral sources. Our installation disables Google signals and advertising personalization. Read Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner sites.
- Microsoft Clarity: provides interaction measurements, heatmaps and session replays to help us understand website usability. This can include clicks, scrolling, page views and device information. The inquiry form is masked for Clarity. We send denied advertising-storage consent. Microsoft also processes information under its Privacy Statement.
Cookies and your choices
Necessary technologies support the website, security and your privacy choices. Optional analytics are off until you choose to allow them. Accept all enables both analytics tools; Reject optional leaves both off. Preferences lets you choose each separately. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using Cookie preferences in the footer.
We store your choice, notice version and selection date in this browser’s local storage for up to 180 days. Clearing browser storage removes that choice. When your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we keep optional analytics off. A preference change that disables an active tool reloads the page to stop it.
When enabled, Google Analytics may use cookies named _ga and _ga_* (configured here for up to 180 days). Clarity may use _clck (up to one year) and _clsk (up to one day). Providers can change their technologies; see Clarity’s cookie documentation. Rejecting or withdrawing removes accessible first-party analytics cookies from this site; your browser controls cookies held on other domains.
Email communications
We use email to communicate about inquiries and services, and may send marketing emails. You can opt out of marketing using the instructions in a message or by emailing info@wlsound.com. Cookie choices do not subscribe you to email. Necessary communications about an active project may continue after a marketing opt-out.
Retention, security and requests
Retention depends on the purpose of the information, our business relationship, and applicable recordkeeping or legal requirements. We have not adopted one fixed retention period for all inquiries and customer records. Contact us to ask about a particular record or request access, correction or deletion. We may need to verify your identity and retain records where required or permitted by law.
Information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. No website or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional privacy rights, including the right to raise a concern with your local data protection authority.
