Focus on the closest seats
The auditorium’s main sound system worked well overall, but speech was harder to understand in the front rows. W&L addressed that specific coverage gap as part of a broader system upgrade.
Small speakers. Considered placement.
Six JBL Control 23-1 loudspeakers were mounted beneath the stage lip. Each was aimed toward the closest audience rows while preserving sightlines and limiting sound directed onto the stage.
Integrated with the main system
W&L time-aligned the front fills to the existing PA and built a custom wiring harness. The installation keeps connections organized and gives school technical staff a clearer path for future troubleshooting.
